James Evans
James Gethyn Evans is a doctoral student in History at Harvard University, specializing in modern China and Taiwan and the global history of the Cold War. His research interests include China's historical foreign relations with non-state actors, the global impact of Maoism, and anti-imperialism and decolonization movements. James earned a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford and a master's in Regional Studies East Asia at Harvard University, where his thesis on Maoist China’s interactions with the Third World won the Joseph Fletcher Memorial Award.
