The visualization of social networks in Angouleme shows relationships of family, friendship,  employment and proximity (living nearby.) The relationship of being neighbours is depicted, in a general way, in the graph of parish geographies. But the remarkable archival sources in the Archives Municipales d’Angoulême also make it possible to map spatial relationships in much greater detail, at the level of “islands” or clusters of houses, and even of who lived next to whom.
